THE CHARACTERS:

Finn - The human boy. After coming to Skylands, he found out his true power and potential as a Portal Master. He is a magic portal master.
Andrew - Another human boy. Finn's best friend. He is a hard working slave now, but he is trying to train to be a fire portal master.
Bella - A human girl. Finn has a huge crush on her. She is nice, sweet, and kind. She is a light portal master.
The Man In the Black Robe - Am man with crazy purple markings on his head that wears a black robe. Very mysterious. Not much is known about him.
Jared Fury - The Leader of Skylanders Academy. He is a very powerful Portal Master that plans to take down Eon himself.
Buck - Leader of the secret portal master association
Vox - The cool tech dude. Thinks he is the strongest.
Sona - The gothic undead portal master.
Lila - The super happy and excited life portal master. Otherwise known as Lila Life
Spyro - Finn's skylander. A brave and amazing skylander.
Spotlight - Bella's Skylander. A cute little fearsome skylander.
Hot Dog - A miscevious skylander just like Andrew. He is Andrew's skylander.
Hex - Sona's skylander
Whisper Elf - Lila's Skylander
Portal Master Eon - A dark, evil portal master. He is the ruler of Skylands, and everyone loves him. But, they do not no his dark, evil secrets.
Eon's Army - The dark army that wants to capture Finn and Bella to send them back to Eon so that he can drain their power and get himself more power.
Wildfire - Jared Fury's skylander. A well trained trap master.
Portal Elder Novo - The grand leader of the portal master rebellion.
Wolfgang - The first doom raider to be fought. He is ready to rock!
Malefor - The darkness itself.

CHAPTER ONE

There I was walking down the street. It had been a hard day at school. Andrew had been messing around a lot. Although Bella, there was something odd about her. She was acting weird, like she knew something she couldn't tell. I asked her what it was and she said, "Oh, family issues." I was confused about this. She had a amazing family. I wish my family was like hers. I am only living with my mom. My dad went to the market one day, and he, well, didn't come back. Anyways, I was walking home with Andrew, like I always do. We were gonna stop by Bella's house though. She had forgotton her notebook at school and I was going to bring it to her. Andrew said I was only doing it because I love her. yeah, I guess I sort of like her. She is beautiful and cute like a little teddy bear. She has always been nice to me too. One day, Jaden tripped me in school and everyone started laughing at me but Bella told them to stop, and they did.

I guess I should tell you about myself. My name is Finn Paperleigh. I have blonde hair and blue eyes. My mom says I get it from my dad. Sometimes, it is hard for us to talk about him. My mom and dad never fought. He just dissapeared one day. I live alone with my mom. I am an only child. I go to school, wake up, and have brekfest. Nothing special about me.

Today was strange though. I felt when we were in school, when I got close to Bella, we felt connected. It was odd. We had finally made it to Bella's house then. We heard someone screaming in there though. Then, we saw what was happening! There was a fire!

I was in shock. I then said to Andrew, Andrew there is a fire! We have to save bella.
"Holy crap, um, stay here. We aren't risking our life for some stupid pretty girl. I will call the fire department."

But it was to late. I was already running in there. I had to save Bella. I felt as if she was my purpose in life. I felt like we shared some sort of connection. But that is when I saw him. There was this weird glowing hole in her basement. There she was! There was a man, in an all black robe, holding her. She had chains on her. He didn't see me. I hid. He was going in. There he went. I didn't know what to do. I hid, and waited.

The man in the black robe is Kaos! Right?

He was gone. What happened. The green hole was still there. It was shining like the moonlight on a hot summer day. He had gone through it. Does that mean I can too? I didn't know what to do. Should I jump through this portal or not. Where would it take me? Would I come back? There were so many questions. But she was my dream. Bella was my purpose in life. I went to it. I hopped through.

I was falling. I kept on falling. I didn't know what was going on. Was I falling forever. Would I ever reach the bottom? Then, I saw it. The bottom. I was going to die! I was panicing. I was going to hit the ground and die! I was coming closer. Here it goes. I started counting down in my head the seconds until I died. I was so scared. 5. 4. 3. 2. 1. I did it. Wait, I hit the bottom. Am I in heaven? What is this place? Did I die? There she was! They were loading her in the cage with a bunch of other kids! What were they doing. There was that man in the dark robe again. And there was Bella. She had chains on her. I had to save her.

I had to make a plan. I had to rescue her. I read the sign on the cart. Slaves? Wait, they were taking Bella as a slave! This couldn't be happening. I hid. They were just about to leave. Then, the portal started closing. I could go back now, and live a normal life if I wanted. But Bella was my purpose. But then, I saw something coming out of the portal. It was Andrew! He was coming through! I couldn't believe it! He was screaming as he was falliing. This wasn't good. They heard us. The man in the black robe started coming closer. I couldn't see his face. He saw Andrew and I. We had to run. I grabbed Andrew's arm and ran. But, the man in the black cloak was to powerful. He shocked us. I was struck by purple lightning. I started blacking out. I couldn't see anyt----

I woke up inside of a cage. I was crammed in a cage with a bunch of other kids. What was going on? What happened? I saw the man in the black robe again. He had some kind of purple marking on his head.

I asked him, "Where am I!"
"You might be confused for a little while. I will tell you later.", He replied.
"No! I want to know now!"
"It would be best-"
"I want know now!"
"You have been captured as a slave. You will be sold to whoever buys you. You traveled between dimensions somehow and ended up here. This is Skylands. A land of floating islands. It is also filled with wonderful creatures called Skylanders. They are the heroes of Skylands. But, the Portal Masters are the ones who are the true heroes. You and your friends seem to have a lot of potential. Where are you from?"

I did not know if I should answer the man in the black robe. He seemed, kind of evil. He was selling us as slaves after all. Skylands? What kind of place is that! I don't want to be here. I want to go back home. He said I had poetential though. Does that mean I could save her? And leave! This place sounds like this old game everyone used to play in 4th grade called Pokemon.

"A place called Earth." You just captured my friend from it, and my other friend and I came to rescue her.", I answered.
"Oh, that makes sense. People from the Earth dimenson normally have strong portal master powers. But you are your friends are, very powerful. You will sell well."

We rode for days. I had to stay in the sweaty cart with a bunch of other kids still. This life was terrible. What would happen to me! I would end up be a house servant or working in mines!

Then, one day. A rider showed up at our carts.

"Do you have them. Any with the power. I will pay lots for a better one.", the man said.
"Hmmm, it seems that we have these two.", replied the man in the black robe.
"I like these two. I will buy them."

We were let out of our carts and led to the man's horse. He hadn't bought Andrew! Did he not have the power?

"Excuze me sir, can you please by my friend, he is that one over there. Please. If you don't I won't be able to focus until I get to see him.", I said.
"Well, I guess he could be useful for a house servant. I want him too. Come to the horse children."

I guess that started our adventure.

CHAPTER 4

I was on the man's horse. I was glad I got away from the man in the black robe. Something seemed, odd about him. I wondered who this guy was though. He seemed nice. After all, he did buy my friend Andrew. What would this new place be like? Would it be fun? Someone in the cage whispered something about it being a dangerous job. I didn't know what this meant. I had to ask.

"Um, excuze me sir, but who are you?", I asked.
"I am Jared Fury, leader of the Portal Master Academy. You will call me Mr.Fury though. I know what you are thinking. What the heck is going on. Don't worry, I used to be a little slave just like you. We are in dark times now. We need more portal masters to form a resistance. You don't understand. See, we are under the rule of Portal Master Eon. He is a very powerful portal master. People think of him as great, especially the Mabu, but they aren't very smart. They don't know his dark secrets. You see, he has been torturing innocent skylanders to try and get there power so he can live forever and forever be king. Eon is evil." he replied.
"Oh wow, sounds like something out of a storybook. Lol."
"Lol", Andrew chimed in.
"Lol, I guess,"concluded Bella
"Um, excuze me, but what is lol? Sorry, I haven't been back to Earth in 2,000 years! And this is a very, very serious matter.", said Jared.
"Oh, um, it is something from the 21st century. Now isn't the best time to explain."

We soon arrived at the academy. It was a huge castle on a giant floating island. It was full of a bunch of these creatures known as mabu, a fairy, a tree house, a jazzy skeleton, and a card playing sea dog!

"Wow, this place is amazing!" , said Bella.
"I know right",replied Andrew.
"Welcome to Skylanders Academy childeren.", said Jared

Chapter 5

“Come on out children, don’t be scared. We have lots of work to do.”, said Jared.

This place was amazing. We walked through the beautiful black gates. Over on the right I saw a little fairy in her treehouse, and over on the left I saw some sort of magic purple portal. There were these cool spinning totems by the bath and when we would walk by them they would change to the same symbol on the man in the black robe’s head. In the middle there was this huge prison looking vault thing. Jared had told us it was called a “villain vault”.

“Ok children, follow me. I will show you to your rooms.” said Jared.

As we were walking by we saw tons of boys and girls. Although, they didn’t have the same aura and feeling as Bella and I.

“These are the ones!”, said Jared.

Then, they all started bowing. I thought I was now a slave, not a king. They then escorted Bella and I to are rooms. They took Andrew to the basement. I was guessing he wasn’t going to get a room like ours, because he didn’t have the power. The other kids brought us to our rooms. They were amazing, like a bedroom in a palace. A huge bigger than a king size bed too. Was this really going to be all that dangerous. I mean, all I would really be doing is cleaning, and cooking, and scrubbing the floor, right?

I was so tired from the long journeys that I passed out. I guess this was allowed, because I woke up that next day at 8:00. There was a note on the door that said “Meet me in the lab - Jared.” Where was the lab? I got out of bed and saw that I had a new pair of fresh clothes, and not the dirty old rags that the man in the black robe gave us. I put them on. I had my own leather jacket, with a belt around it with a place to hold a sword and a fresh pair of jeans. Why would I need the sword? I put on the clothes. They were as comfy as a pillow. I looked around. Maybe I could get used to this. I opened up the door to see a scrawny kid in the rags like I had on before.

“Oh, I see that you have put on your clothes. You are very lucky. I am guessing that you want me to take you to the lab. At least that is what Jared told me to do. Anyways, see that mirror in your room. Just say where you want to go in Skylanders Academy and jump in. I know this sounds really stupid to you, but just do it. It won’t be stupid for long.” said the scrawny kid.

“Ok….so...um, the lab!”

I then jumped into the mirror. I thought I was going to just slam right in to the mirror, but I was wrong. I ended up in this big white building.

“Welcome to the lab, you ready to pick your skylander?” said Jared.

Chapter 6

“Wait, we are going to get our own skylanders? Those hero things that the man in the black robe told us about before?” I asked.

“Yes, those are skylanders. They protect our world of skylands from evil, like Eon. Although, in order for them to fight, they must be summoned in by a Portal Master.” replied Jared.

“Wait, I have heard this “portal master” word so many times. What does it mean?” I asked.

“Oh, yes. A portal master is someone with the magical power to activate skylanders. They can summon them in and use them to fight for good. But, sometimes there are dark portal masters, like Eon, who use dark skylanders for evil. They can be used for battle. Sometimes though, if you are a strong portal master, you can use your own abilities. Some can shoot lightning, others shoot ice, some even throw fire. It depends. You also grow to become more like that kind of element. Your element chooses you. You to seem to be strong portal masters. Come step right here. This machine will give you your element.” explained Jared.

I stepped on the device. It started shaking. My body felt kind of weird. I was growing. This was weird. My hair started turning a bit purpleish. I got this weird purple symbol on my chest. What did this mean? I kept on shaking. I saw these purple floating particles come out of my hand. The Machine started beeping. It said Magic.

“Congratulations!” said Jared. “You have been selected to be a magic portal master. This is the most powerful, because it oversees the other elements. Yes, your hair is now purple. Whatever. I remember when my hair turned red and I had freckles and braces. That didn’t turn out well. Anyways, Bella, step right up.”

Her hair started getting very blonde. She looked a little scared. I didn’t know if she would be ok also. She grew this symbol on her chest, it looked like the sun. Then, the machine said in all caps “LIGHT”. This sounded cool. She stepped out of the machine, a little dizzy.

“Congrats! You are in the new element of good! That should be fun! Now, it is time for you two to pick your skylanders. Come over here. These are the magic skylanders. Tell me when you have chosen your’s.

I looked through the skylanders. I read their names and looked at them. “Double Trouble.” Nah, to creepy. “Deja Vu”. I honestly don’t really want ot go back in time, besides, she looked scary. “Ninjini.” What? No, I don’t want a little bottle. “Spyro” This one stared at me. I started feeling like I wanted him, and he wanted me. There was just something that connected us. Jared did say that we would feel it when we found it. I went back over to see Bella’s new skylander. It was a white dragon with yellow and white scales and halo holes in it’s rings.

“Her name is Spotlight.” said Bella.

“Have you found your skylander yet?” asked Jared.

“Yeah, I have. I felt connected with him.” I answered.

“I think I know who this one is. Spyro?” asked Jared.

“How did you know?” I asked.

“You two share a lot of similarities.” he said.

He walked over to the Skylanders section. Spyro came running out. He jumped on the bench I was sitting on and said, “Finn!”

“Spyro!” I replied.

He was like a little dog. He kept on licking me. He truly loved me, and I loved him too.

Spyro followed me as I walked back to my room. When I walked in, I saw there was a whole new section, built just for Spyro. There was a little purple bed for him, some toys, food. It was so cute. There were still a bunch of little scrawny kids in there painting. They were just about done.

“Ahh!”, they screamed. They ran out of the room quickly in their little rags. I was very confused by them. Spyro sat down with his toys. I realized there was a walky talky on my bed. It said “Communication with Jared and Bella.” I had really wanted to go see Andrew. I hadn’t seen him in almost two days! I asked through the walkie talkie, “Can I go visit Andrew through the mirror?” About 30 seconds later I got a reply from Jared. “Sure thing kiddo.” I looked at the mirror. Andrew’s room. I jumped through the portal and ended up in a tiny concrete room. it was 95% smaller than my room. It was cold, stinky, and dark. All there was was a hard uncomfortable bed and a little dog bed for his skylander. I felt bad for him. He was still wearing the same rags as before.

“Hey dude! Yeah, I know what you are thinking. I have seen your room. And yes, I am still wearing the same clothes. But life is great here. I have this really cool thing called a skylander. His name is Hot Dog, see.

I saw this little fire dog. He was wagging his tail and smiling at me. Maybe life for him wasn’t so bad for him after all. Then, I heard from the walkie talkie, ‘GO TO BED. Training starts tommorow, you need a good night’s sleep. Then, I teleported to my bed somehow and went to sleep.

Lol, why didn't I think of Spyro. These are really good Skylander choices, actually. But bad Skylanders? Maybe the Dark Editions? Well..I'll wait and see!

Chapter 7

I woke up to see Spyro on my bed. Of course. It had been a crazy week so far. My friends and I had been captured from my friend Bella’s home and sold as slaves to Skylanders Academy. I was now known as a ultimate portal master and the showrunner of Skylanders Academy wanted me to defeat the evil ruling portal master of Skylands, Eon. It was a lot to handle. He was training me to fight and use a hero known as a skylander. My skylander’s name was Spyro. He was a purple dragon and we bonded a lot together.

“Spyro, wake up. It’s time for training.”I said.
“Rararawr. I’m all fired up! You ready Finn?” Spyro asked.
“Yeah, let’s go head over to the training yard.” I replied.

We looked at the mirror. I said where we wanted to go, and Spyro and I jumped through and ended up at the training yard!

“Ugh, I will never get used to that.” I complained.

“Welcome Finn, and hello Spyro. Now, before we begin our training, Finn is going to need an important weapon. You see the compartment to hold a sword, well you are going to need that. Now, since you are a Magic portal master Will, you will need the sword of magic. You you squeeze it tight and think about where you want to go, you can go anywhere in Skylands! And if you hold on to someone, they will come with you.” Jared explained.

“Ok? Spyro, hold on to me. We are just going to teleport back to my room.” I said.

I gripped on to my sword tight and held on to Spyro. I thought of my room in Skylanders Academy. Then, everything went purple and black, tons of magic element symbols went around me, and there I was, back at my room. I was liking this. I then gripped tight and thought of the training yard. The same thing happened, and Bingo Bango! I was back at the training yard.

“Sweet!” I exclaimed.

“Pretty awesome, I know. Now, I want you to tell what moves to use on the training dummies to Spyro. If you ever forget, here is a big book to show all of Spyro’s moves.” Jared said.

“Oh, wow, this is big.” I said barely even able to lift up the book. “Um, Spyro, use Fireball at the training dummies about 5 times.” I told Spyro.

Then, Spyro actually did it! He shot fireballs! This was ending up to be super cool!

“Nice job Finn, and you to Spyro. Now Finn, use your sword to attack the dummies. Don’t worry, you can do this.” Jared told me.

I went over to the training dummies and started using my sword. And then that is when the big explosion happened. We could see a massive ship that said “Eon’s Army” on it. Oh no, I think they were here for us.

Thanks! The explosion happened! Eon's army? What could this mean! I am gonna start writing 8 at like 10:00 am pacific time, so be prepared.
