Multiplayer Mechanic

How will this work with multiplayer? Videos show the single player swapping the trapped villian, but what about the second player? The portal appears to only hold one trap. Can both players swap out of one trap or will only one of the players be able to do the swap?

So while we are all speculating a 4-player game or even an online game... Trap Team will be SINGLE PLAYER ONLY!! (kidding, of course.)

They wouldn't comment on online...but in one of the videos the rep for the game said it was 2 player.

They said they are still shooting for a 2 concurrent player experience. However, I'm hopeful we will have the ability to match and play someone online for PvP. If we get at least that in this game, I'll be good.

maybe you can have two skylanders normally on a portal and one villain? or swap between using a skylander and one of them but still have two on screen

Taking that last ride through the sunset on skylanders. Hopefully a return of more classic spyro gameplay in the horizon.

If a trap can hold up to four villains, I assume player 1 and player 2 can both use any of the villains in the trap, but both players are limited by whichever trap is in the portal (until they swap it).

Btw, I haven't seen any confirmation you can store more than one character on a crystal. The video talks about getting more crystals after storing one, so I'm going with that.
