I haven't been able to find any cheats on getting extra lives in Spyro 2 GTG. Any suggestions would be appreciated ?

There isn't a normal cheat to increase your number of lives in this game unfortunately, and as far as I can see there isn't much of a point as you just carry on after Game Over anyway. An easy way to gain lives would be to run around one of the homeworlds killing sheep over and over again.

However, if you have a cheat cartridge you may wish to use the codes in CHyde's Walkthrough here.

Yes, simply run around in a homeworld and kill fodder. The best place I've found was Autumn Plains, where there is three sets of three sheep. Kill them all, take their butterfly, and run around the large pool once. They should be back for you to repeat the process.

Its called Gameshark. You can buy it for PSone for cheap. You put the Gameshark disk into the PSone, put in the codes, and then remove the disk while the game is still on and enter the game in which the codes are for.

Yeah... I never do Gameshark because it could erase your game, making you have to do all over again... through the hard levels... and the strong winds... don't want that to happen. So that's why I never do Gameshark! Yay me! smiliesmiliesmiliesmiliesmiliesmiliesmiliesmiliesmiliesmiliesmilie

Chill. No offence but this can't really be counted as a dead topic cos there aren't exactly many topics in GTG at the moment anyway. I mean I totally understand if somebody posts in an ancient topic in, say, Off topic.

I kill the fogs in Summer Forest to get lives.

As I said daida, ignore him but try to follow the rules.

I kill the frogs in the Autumn plains area where Herracos, (probably splet wrong) and Sunny Beach are. You can just run round to the place with the sheep then, kill them and run back to the resurrected frogs!

Yeah, that too. Also, in my Hurt 'n' Heal topic on the General Board, see that three creatures have gone against the ex-winner.

Usually, I would keep killing fodder around the homeworld, and then run around someplace until that one particular fodder appears again. I know it takes a while and it gets broing, but you have to if you want lots of lives. I don't know if there is a cheat for unlimited lives though...

I have noticed that this game has no 99 lives limit. I have, in my boring loneliness, killed sheep and frogs in Summer Forest for so long time that the amount of lives was 113.
---
I might give you more opinions... for a small fee of course.
