Jade Fire Kraken release date? [CLOSED]

I'm new to skylanders lost islands bc I'm not a fan of Apple and it was just recently released to those of us on android. OR at least to the galaxy note 2. Today jade fire kraken is available on lost islands. Do the releases ever correspond with the actual figure being released or even close to it? Just wondering if in the past say Ninjini showed up in lost islands thenwas stores the next week or is there no relation whatsoever when this happens? Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks

As of now? No clue, except for the fact that he might be released in March, as Jade Flashwing was.

They've always usually put them in the game after the physical release. Sometimes it could be the next week and sometimes way later. This is the first time I've known them to put a Skylander in game before the physical release. So who knows what they're doing?

I saw that they added Jade Fire Kracken to the Islands. It's odd, though, as the game is still missing plenty of characters that are out now.

Chinese New Year is January 31st. It would make sense if it is released around that time. Easter is in April (spring time Trigger Happy), and World Cup is in June (kickoff Countdown). Again, these are simply my guesses based on Pumpkin Eyebrawl and Jolly Bumble Blast).

Hmmm... I wouldn't rule Chinese new year out... I'd keep my eyes and ears open for that.

Legendary Night Shift, Legendary Grim Creeper, and Legendary Zoo Lou all come to mind. I feel that there are more I tried to enter, and were rejected.

Chinese New Year always starts a conversation every year since the first skylanders game. I could be wrong but I don't think they have ever even mentioned it it scheduled anything around it. It usually just starts rumors bc of all the dragons in the game. However if there was ever a character to release at that time this one would be it bc he looks similar to the ones they have in their celebrations. I still don't think it will have any effect on skylanders tho.

Mine does. They just don't get info more often than not. But when Jolly Bumble was coming out, they told me and even let me see the guy and that it showed up as locked till release date.
