Yes, Target closing its Canadian stores is extremely bad news for Canadian Skylander fans. Not only because we are losing access to the store exclusive figures, but because (at least for me), they had way more selection than Walmart. Walmart is incredibly bad at restocking, and has a very poor selection, at least in Calgary. When Trap Team came out, I managed to find nearly everything at Target on day one. They also generally have better, and more regular BoGo sales, and tend to carry Skylanders from the older series. All my local Walmart ever has is SF Enchanted Star Strike, a few SSA Hexes and Lightning Rods, and thats it.
AAAArrrggghhh.

I've been out of the mood to even play or hunt for skylanders since like befor christmas but now I'm back and ready to hunt/play. Last skylander I got was winterfest lob star. Wasn't interested I any wave 2 trap masters except winterfest and only wanted tread head which I got. Any new say landers released in canada ( if your in toronto that would help a lot. If not I would still appreciate info. )

Thanks alegeobla well I have some news for ya. I found trail blazer in a ebgames today and I think cobra cadabra ( not sure about him but trail blazer for sure ) I found them at the shoppers world ebgames on the Danforth.

Oh and also love potion popfizz at the ebgames on the Danforth. Didn't pick him up because I really didn't like him. No light or dark packs there. And I think a couple of new traps but they had the sticker covering them and I didn't bother looking.

Any sightings of kaos traps at Canadian retailers?

Urg it's so stupid that they haven't had a wider release for Kaos traps by this point or that Wave 3 isn't readily available in larger quantities

Is the trap eight pack still available?

Here's some good news for Canadians--Best Buy.ca is showing Nitro Head Rush and Eggcellent Weeruptor on their app, which means they will be coming to Canada soon! No date as of yet, but they did the same thing with Love Potion Pop Fizz a few weeks before his release.
I was worried we might have got rooked with our Targets closing, since Nitros are normally a Target exclusive. Glad to see other vendors will be selling them

Checked best buy and thank god we will still get nitro and that the Easter variants will come soon. When they get released you know where they will be. In my collection !!

9.99 for all Easter editions this year. I think its a pretty good price. I will be getting them all probably at future shop. When they come out and I get them notify me and I will hide some for you guys just to make sure you get it because my future shop runs out quickly (Toronto)

I'm in toronto (downtown core) and haven't seen bat spin or high five. And I have only seen kobra kadabra and trail blazer once

Nitro Head Rush available in some EBGames stores in Canada.

Found Legendary Bushwhack at TRU in Calgary (McLeod Trail) location. They had 3 boxes, with 12 per case.
For Amiibo hunters, they also had Mega Man and a whole heap of Sonics!!!

Oh, and they got a bunch of Wave 3 Trap Masters--at least 6 Blastermind, Kaboom, Tuff Luck. Also got in a bunch of Wallops.

Funny enough arenne, I went to another EB Games this morning in Toronto that hadn't gotten the shipment in yet, but they did have a Shulk amiibo that someone had returned due to some damaged packaging, so there's that

EDIT: I ended up peeling off the Activision sticker when I removed the price tag. Not only is the original "Only at Target" badge printed underneath, but it's in dual English/French, so it was stock specific to Canadian Targets. This might explain why it was repurposed for EB and other shops, as Activision was stuck with packaged product that wouldn't make sense on American or European shelves. Given the lead time for Skylanders 5, I think Target exclusives are still up in the air for coming across the border, unless one chain specifically negotiates the deal.

Just wanted to give a heads up on a great sale at Superstore (Calgary): they are selling trap team starter sets for $24.95. Also selling the 3DS starter sets for that price. Glad I held out for the 3DS set till now--awesome deal!!

Went to Cross Iron Mall tonight (Calgary) and found the Red Hot Tussle Sprout trap at TRU. Still one left on shelf after I bought mine.

Wave 4 found at EB Games in Brampton, Ontario! Easter Skylanders plus Bat Spin, High Five, Rocky Roll. No trapmasters though. Also one dark expansion pack (light pack was sold earlier)

Found some new triple trap packs at Calgary EB Games: the Air Sword/Kaos/Earth Handstand pack, and the Magic Rocket/Fire Captain hat/Tech hand pack. The employee also mentioned that they had some single Kaos traps come in, but sold out quickly (big surprise).
They also had 3 Dark and 3 Light Adventure Packs available on the shelf, which I haven't seen since early January!

Found the new Trap Masters (Short Cut, Thunderbolt) at the EB Games in the Toronto underground PATH. They also had the easter / spring toys, and a few light/dark expansion packs as well as light / dark trap masters as singles.

Between today and yesterday, still looking for Echo and the new mini 2-packs.

I found the new Trap Masters at both Toys r us and Wal-mart today in Oakville

Toys r us also had lots of Echo, Spotlight and Blackout and the other singles

Nobody seems to have the new mini 2-packs yet

Going to try again today since thursday had no wave 4 in my area. Anyone on the west coast seen wave 4 yet?

Found Jet Vac/Pet Vac Walmart Exclusive Buddy Pack at Wallys in SE Calgary. Also saw a bunch of Amiibo Toads in the store, and at least 5 at TRU

I was in the Metrotown mall in Vancouver today to pick up my Toad Amiibo. Still no sign of wave 4 at EB Games or Toys R Us.

Got all of wave 4..well almost...did not get Echo or the traps and also go the easter exclusives at sherwood park ebgames

EB Games Calgary received their Wave 4 shipment this afternoon. Managed to buy Knight Mare, Knight Light, Short Cut, Thunderbolt, and the Easter figures: Eggsellent Weeruptor, Power Punch Pet Vac, and the Bunny Earth trap. No new cores or traps, though.
