right now i plan on buying A New Beginning for 3DS sometime soon, but do you guys have any suggestions? this is a series I've been wanting to try for a long time, so i could use some suggestions on what other games in the series i should try out.

Harvest moon: DS is very addicting. I would recommend that.

Well, if you have a GameCube, I reccomend Harvest Moon: Magical Melody.
