Can I Use A NES Controller On Wii U Virtual Console? [CLOSED]

I seek help! How do I connect my NES controller to play NES Virtual Console Wii U games?

I don't feel like I am playing NES unless I have that controller. Please help me!

try forcing it into the gamecube controller ports

As was said before, Please be trolling....
You can't, you need to rip out the cord and superglue AND duct tape a GameCube controller's cord to the end of it, then jam it into controller port 4. (Unless you have one fo the newer Wii's which doesn't play GameCube games.



Though in the event that you aren't, the original NES controller CANNOT be plugged into a wii. They make some kind of retro controller, that doesn't look like the original NES controller but is used for NES virtual console.

This is clearly a troll topic but for the people that tried to help.

He said Wii U, not Wii. The only inputs that the Wii U has is USB and SD nit any if the Gamecube ports.

there is an GC Controller Adapter for Wii/Wii U..... so nes controller on the wii-u is possible...


and there is this... snes controller for the wii-u

Well technically, it can function as a Classic Controller or a sideways Wii Remote, but it doesn't actually function as a Pro Controller, despite the misleading name. Still, it works on virtual console games.
