Don't update your ps3 [CLOSED]

Haven't seen a topic about this yet so here. Apparently the 4.45 update for the ps3 is faulty and is rendering consoles unusable. Sony is reportedly working on solving the problem right now but it's best you don't get the update at all for now.

I read that it was confirmed to only affect 3rd party consoles (console with added harddrives) I have also been told that update 4.45 has been taken offline. I dont know too much on the issue since i am an xbox user

For some reason my PS3 keeps loosing internet connection. Before it was really stable and my internet connection hasn't gotten any change. So I haven't been able to update. Dodge a bullet there. I hope the matter gets fixed quickly.
