None aside from these slight differences, unless you want to take the game with you to fill in Koroks and whatnot.

Another question regarding the game...
Is it true that you can eat Octoroks?

Not exactly, because all monster parts become Dubious Food if you try to cook and not make an elixir, and as far as I've watched I don't see any normal moster food. Someone more far ahead might be able to confirm.

I dont know why exactly, but I guessed Ive killed so many Lynels that all of the Lynels in Hyrule (besides the one on Shatterback Point) are silver. Does anyone know how to change this? I want to get some of the Blue and Red Lynel weapons

I think they just get harder the further you are in the story, and if they're all silver, I don't think there's a way to change that.

Well darn. Guess if you want to have Blue and White Lynels appear you need to not defeat the final boss
Bifrost Platinum Sparx Gems: 6666
#1310 Posted: 19:49:20 28/03/2017
I don't think it's tied to the final boss, it's to how many Blood Moons reviving the ones you killed plus the progress in the story. The stream I'm watching had a camp go from red Bokoblins to white several moons after he cleared it and
Cleared Vah Rudania.

Just keep in mind that at the start of the game you can't eat lasers like most LPers currently are doing. It'll tear through your shields and Link's skin real quick.

My only strategy is to save the stamina until they're about to fire the laser, then sprint away as fast as possible.

theres a lot of interactive maps online and some in the guide that tell the location and type/color of every miniboss
idk if it respawns as a different one after you kill it like most enemies, but if youve killed all the red and blues ur probably **** out of luck

thank you
so many people complain like "ooooh guardians are so tough!! only guardian weapons cant defeat it otherwise run away!!" like no
just time your parrying right and its not difficult whatsoever

#1318 Posted: 15:01:56 02/04/2017
Id had actually only killed a few of them and they all became silver. I know for a fact there are places where Ive found Lynels recently where the guidebook says theyre a certain color but they're silver regardless. Kinda sucks, but oh well, at least the Savage Lynel weapons are nice.

The Silver Lynels with Crushers are the only ones I struggle with at this point. Some of their attacks are just too quick to perfect dodge... Anyone else?

Also, on the subject of Guardians, if you have the resources, invest in an Ancient Shield. Im not going to spoil where to find them, but I always have one in my inventory in case I run into any Guardians. I usually deflect one laser, shoot it in the eye with an arrow then go ham on its legs to make it so it cant move. Then you can do whatever you want to it whether that be whacking it a few more times, shooting it in the eye again, or deflecting a laser at it. They usually dont have much health when you break off all of their legs.

I just realized actually, the two enemies that I was deathly afraid of dealing with when I started are the only enemies that provide any sort of challenge to me. Lynels and Guardian Stalkers were sure to make me run in the opposite direction but now when I see one all I think is, "bring it."

-remembers a certain hidden armor-

Oh, my sweet summer child. I'll let you find this one out.

But SS, you CAN deflect lasers from the get go, but at the start it's not a good idea to get game overs or lose your shields with so few slots. It's much easier to come back later with more hearts and stuff to practice parrying safely.

Once you have a nice, sharp weapon and some arrows, Guardians are a lot less scary. Just shoot its eye to stun it, then get up close and cut its legs off, then either get on and keep hitting it or just spam bomb arrows to its eye. The flying ones are a different story though; they're always scary no matter what you do.

The same thing happened to me Strider. That boss was the last one I fought too. The game apparently makes the bosses harder the later you fight them, and yet, it was super easy.

Also yeah, I cant recommend an Ancient Shield enough times. Its an instant deflect if you really dont have the timing right

What secret armor room?

Skywatchers I find kinda difficult. Deflecting is hard because they bob side to side when you hit them once and waiting for them to stabilize is a death sentence. Aiming for their eye with an Ancient arrow is also a disaster

was anyone else disappointed with how easy all the boss fights were, how unoriginal the design were ie all ganons blights basically looking the same and how dark beast ganon was just "shoot him literally you cannot lose"

i love this game but the short and not very complex story, the lack of mainstream dungeons, rito village taking like 30 minutes and the bosses were kind of a let down imo

i love this game tho pls dont yell at me

I was genuinely surprised by that room. I wasnt expecting that to be there.

It kinda freaked me out for a second, but then I realized most of them were either decayed or just not moving.
It made getting rid them a lot easier.

I really hope the DLC original story is as big as the actual game, they have a year to do it and they've probably already been working on it for a while. I just want adventures with zelda and her hot voice through hyrule, maybe a time skip and actual dungeons ;-;

I did it about 4 times before I gave up a learned the trick to leave your weapons off shore. Unfortunately I forgot to do it when I left so I lost a bunch of stuff too...

I got back to studying the Blood Moon and...
You can teleport to a shrine at 11:50, enter the shrine at 11:55 and leave right after the cutscene plays and be back in Hyrule at midnight with no Blood Moon having happened.
Keep in mind though it will come back the next night.
I figured people would want to know skipping Blood Moons is possible what with all the hate it seems to get. I personally quite like it and think its an interesting way to tie an enemy reset button to lore.
Bifrost Platinum Sparx Gems: 6666
#1341 Posted: 16:08:32 09/04/2017
Why skip Blood Moons though? Other than the cutscene, it's mostly a good thing unless you're in a monster camp.

the stupid yiga clan hideout is the hardest thing in the game, and it's really preventing me from playing further/wanting to play at all

im terrible at stealth in any form, and it's ridiculously frustrating, especially since i have to restart it every goddamn time i die
im really close to just saying **** it and stop playing the game because it's too hard for me and i really dont understand how to get through it, even with a walkthrough

Use some bananas. I had a bit of trouble with it as well, but I managed after a bit of trial and error. And I suck at stealth.
isaac343018s Emerald Sparx Gems: 4191

Yeah dont be afraid to use your bananas. You get a boat load of them in one room to compensate. Use the down arrow while holding bananas to throw them further away. I know its right there on the screen in plain view but main did it help when I found that out.

About Blood Moons, thats specifically when I skip them. They always seem to happen at the worst possible times (monster camps, Hyrule Castle runs, etc.) I swear I always notice the Blood Moon in the sky and look at the clock that says 11:50 just as Im about to defeat that last bokoblin in the camp

I think the latest patch made it impossible for a blood moon to happen while in Hyrule Castle. I suppose to stop people from getting one while fighting Ganon...

I haven't confirmed, but I was outside by the gatehouse watching the blood moon happen and at 12am, nothing.
