I was thinking about getting Metroid: Other M and I was just looking for other people's opinion's about the game first.

The disc wouldn't work on neither my wii nor a friend's so be careful.

I would say that is a disc problem...
I heard lots of good reviews of Other M, however.

yeah thats due to other m using a dual layered disk, the same type of disk that brawl uses
you can easily fix it by cleaning the lens
my wii that i got in '08 is only just starting to have problems reading dual layered disks so i would say be more careful with older wii's

yeah thats due to other m using a dual layered disk, the same type of disk that brawl uses
you can easily fix it by cleaning the lens
my wii that i got in '08 is only just starting to have problems reading dual layered disks so i would say be more careful with older wii's


Brawl is one of my favorite video games and I play it frequently without any problems. Earlier this year, my Wii was having trouble reading disks to the point of it not even reading them. But I found a place that fixed it and it's been working like new! So I don't think the dual layer disk will be a problem

It's a common problem with the game, I cleaned the disc as well as the lens.

Well, I rented the game at Family Video, loved it, then bought it. It works perfectly! smilie
