You will be taken to the year you wish. When you're there time will pass until the last day of the year, then it'll start that year all over again. Your memories will always stay, even when the loop happens.

Basically you're in a looping year. No memories will be lost, ever. Choose what year you will loop for the rest of your life. You will age.
It can be any year. Even the future from now or before you were born. However, if you don't know what happens in the year you choose, you will not be given an idea of where you are heading to. So if you go to the future and earth is no longer there, well have fun choking is space. If you choose the past and a cannonball is about to land where you teleported to, them you'll get blown into pieces! Yep, spawn killed~

2006 was great game-wise, but only because of past memories and stuff, if I kept replaying that it wouldn't be special anymore. Plus that would probably be one of the worst years in school ever .__.
