Definitely! All of the Animal Crossing games are for the most part the same, just with added and improved features. The main difference in this game is, as said above, you are the mayor instead of just a citizen. But from what I've played so far, it's really fun and is great if you want the most say in what happens. I only rented one game before so I didn't have that much experience with the series, but I still think it would be fine if you play this one before any others! smilie

I got mine at Game Stop. No it's not only eShop, but you can get it there.

Every Animal Crossing games so far has been only on one console so I doubt it's coming to Wii U
