Anyone else find that heroics are hard to play with Stump Smash? on the Xbox 360 Ps3 and PC version then... i play the pc version and on the Wii version Skylanders run 2 times faster then other version.... its almost impossible with him...

Stump Smash suffers from being one of the slowest Skylanders, and has no good speed-boosting moves, which makes things hard. Sure, he's powerful, but even his hammers re slow.

Remember to fully upgrade and level-up your characters before doing heroic challenges. It'll make it FAR easier.

but rember that some upgrades include explosions, and some heroics can be done better without the upgrades!

I've got my Stump upgraded with all 32 challenges (plus the SG ones for a total of 50)---no problems for me other than the girth of the character make him feel clumsy at times. He's zippy fast for me.

That's bad advice for some skylanders that have penetrating weapons or those with spread...Save the Purple Chompies Drobit's Challenge and Break it you Buy It Double Trouble's Challenge specifically and to a lesser extent the Break the Cats Zap's Challenge. In some cases it also depends on which upgrade path you took that may decide your overall success rate on these guys.

RIP GhostRoaster. He's reanimated as TakeYourLemons but occasionally is resurrected from the beyond when needed.

Yeah, since I've discovered the nuances, I actually do the Heroic Challenges BEFORE buying any upgrades. On purpose. Many work better when the Skylander is weaker, and some require it (Purple Chompies). "Fully upgrade" is terrible advice, indeed.

There are a couple where killing faster is better or necessary, those I might leave until the end, or I might buy a CAREFUL upgrade or two, ones which increase damage without increasing Area Of Effect, stuff like that. But only when I can't finish the challenge without the upgrade.
