Tornado sirens have gone off. I'm screwed!

If you live in an area where a tornado of that severity may occur, you would likely have some sort of cellar or basement. Retreat to that location.
Also, there is no need to worry this much. That will only hinder your ability to make quick decisions. After all, it will likely miss your location or do little damage to it, depending on where you live.

I live in tornado alley, and have dealt with several tornado warnings, but it still scares the **** out of me every time. I'm a worry freak.

EDIT: Aw **** it's hailing! And lightning! MY FREAKIN ROOM LIT UP!!!

As you can see, I tend to use some foul language when stressed...

Not neccessarily. I live in Texas, a part of Tornado Alley, and at least in the part of Texas I'm in, the soil is a certain way that it's not really suitable for building a proper basement. Very few if anyone has a basement where I live.

I get it though, this stuff is scary. Just find somewhere safe and curl up. I usually go with the pantry of my house since it's the center point of the first floor. A bathtub should also suffice.

Go to anywhere that seems safe, go to a bath tub, and just get a pillow, and comforter, and cover yourself with it. Be close to family, as if something happens, they should know. Never been in a tornado myself, but just find somewhere safe, stay away from glass windows/doors. Stay away from anything that seems fragile, and best of all, be safe.

In MI we get about 5 tornadoes a year. Dont worry about it, unless you are really unlucky.

I've lived with tornadoes rolling around. And I'm in VA. But the earthquake in 2011 was way worse.

I've never had to deal with a tornado before, but I would think there to at least be the possibility that it might knock out the power for a while.

Yeah, I don't envy anyone living in tornado alley. I'd actually rather have cancer (again) than have to deal with the constant threats and deadly tornadoes every spring/summer. <.<;

We got some hail damage, but a tornado didn't touch down. I was so freakin scared. The power went off and killed my technology for a while.
