defintion of a furry: someone who is intrested in anthromorphic animals, anthromorphic animal meaning animal with human-like traits. for example, bugs bunny is humanlike because he stands on two feet and can talk and has human-like intelligence. talking fourlegged characters such as simba from the lion king counts as an anthromorphic but 'furry' mostly refers to characters who can stand on two feet. i believe the furry fandom's word for four legged animal is 'feral'. many 'furries' create their own anthromorphic animal characters. a lot of furries create one character based on themselves, this is called fursona.

Like, seriously. There with a few distinguishable ones, but most looked like odd hairless ape things, as if humanity's growing ignorance propelled it backwards evolution-wise into an animal-like state, while actual animals began gaining control and evolving human-like features. Arthur takes place in an era where the two have reached a mutual point, by means of animal kind moving forward and humanity (now the fairly common ape-things) moving backward.
