Back in my day, we didn't have all this "fire" nonsense! If it got dark you crawled your ass in that cave and huddled close to your damn family. Freakin' hippies.

Back in my day, we used to watch Kenan & Kel, All That, The Amanda Show, Ed, Edd, n' Eddy, and especially Spongebob. Back in my day, when you got bad grades in school, your parents punished YOU; they didn't go up to the school and complain to your teacher. Back in my day, spanking wasn't called "child abuse", it was called "discipline." When we got bored, we got on the computer and played Space Pinball or Minesweeper, or we got out our Gameboys and played Pokemon until our eyes were about to burn.

Y'all don't know nothing about the 90s struggle.

There's a problem here....

Oops. Thanks, I overlooked that.

I guess that was just in retaliation to them saying Spongebob was dumb.

Fun Fact: Most self-proclaimed "90s kids" were born in the later years of the 90s (95 and up) and remember very little of it except the shows/fads that continued into the early 2000s.

When I first made an account, that was actually the case. Now the site's populace has grown younger and there is almost nobody to discuss the older games with...

And anything beyond '95 shouldn't count unless you remember your childhood with unmatched vividity.

You're an example if someone who actually has the appropriate grounds to run around the internet proclaiming "90S KID FOREVVVAAAARRR11!!!11!" The fact that you don't instills in me a sense of respect for you.

I was born after '95 (I'm not going into specifics because I want to retain some iota of mystery) and it bugs me when I see people my age talking about what "90s kids" they were. The few years I spent in the 90s, I was too young to be aware of the fact that it was the 90s and I had yet to be taught the universal timekeeping system.

Do you remember the culture and fads of the 90s? Did you enjoy them? If so, then you are a 90s kid. Doesn't matter what year you were born.

I find it weird how people say they had Gameboys back then but think of our grandparents seeing those in the 90's.

Well obviously you have to fulfill the criteria of being born in the era.

Back in my day, we didn't just waltz into liquor stores and give the clerk an ID! We had to be fortunate enough to know a guy who knows a guy who knows the owner of a speakeasy that may or may not put questionable ingrediants into their moonshine which may or may not have been made by ruthless gang members!

I was born in '98, and I do not believe myself to be a 90s kid. My earliest memories were probably in 2000. Though you would get different definitions of what a '90s kid' is if you asked enough people.
