I went ahead and bought him because... *sigh* I'm impulsive and wanted something new in my Skylanders game smilie He'll probably be on sale in a week or two!

And there's nothing to indicate that it's for a limited time or a special price or anything. I think it's just another new companion.

If it's not limited time, I'm going to wait, I hoping Tree Rex & Eye-Brawl's houses will return and want to save my gems to buy those since they'll probably be one-day sales; and I don't have enough gems to splurge on anything else.

I'm with LaCrysta. I already bought some gem packs and I don't want to make a habit of it.

But that's what these kind of games are all about: Getting you to spend as much (real!) money as possible. Look at the top ten of the most profitable apps in the store. Similar games like Clash of Clans and Hay Day make a lot of money and Lost Islands tries to do the same.

I know that's the formula and I really don't mind spending a few bucks on a game I enjoy playing. But my budget isn't endless, so I try to spend my virtual resources wisely smilie.

Tree Rex's house will be re released for a day on the 12th (I'm time traveling to check on next days promotions). I haven't seen anything about Eye-Brawl's though...

That's a great tip! If only my son hadn't spent my gems to buy legendary chop chop smilie Back to square one I guess...

If you register Legendary Chop Chop using the figure or web code you will get those 200 gems back as a refund.

I "lost" eyebrawl and thumpbacks house to error code 13 when i had no choice but to load an old local save of my game. Saving my gems to buy them when they pop up again. Hopefully soon.

Ninjini still not in stores here. Hope i get my gems refunded when i use her code.
