Trying to leave a gift, how do you do it? [CLOSED]

Just got my first friend, and would like to leave them a gift. However, I cannot figure out how to do it, can anyone help me?

I got a gift from you.

If you click on the banner in the lower right corner it will have a couple of people that you can hit and it will let you visit or send gifts. That is also where you receive gifts.
