Ratchet and Clank Movie [CLOSED]

rainmaker studios recently announced they will make a movie adaption of the ratchet and clank series, set to release in 2015:

I thought i'd share this for fans of the franchise, but as for me, I don't have any playstation systems, as much as I want to try the series. the series and film look pretty cool.

I haven't gotten the chance to properly invest in this franchise, but I've liked what I've played and I quite like the characters. So I'll definitely watch this when it comes out.

I will see this. I loved Ratchet and Clank since forever. Though, i admit i stopped playing after dreadlock. The new ones were for PSP and all i had was a PS2. I loved him and i hope the movie rules. Unlike the movie of The Avatar: The Last Airbender. That sucked.

I really can't wait to see this movie. I only have 3 of the Ratchet and Clank games on my PS2, and I really like them and enjoy them. I'm really looking forward to this movie. smilie

Even though it's early in the movie's development cycle, hopefully Sony and Insomniac will get the composer from A Crack in Time to do the music for the movie. He gave that game a very cinematic score and the music from that game's cutscenes was beautiful. I have no doubt he could make some great tunes for the movie. But that's probably wishful thinking on my part.

I'm looking forward to this. T.J Fixman is a good writer and has done a really good job with the series, especially the Future saga.

I hope that the film will dig deeper into Ratchet and Clank's past that was mentioned in A Crack in Time rather than re-tell us the story of how Clank escaped from a factory and crashed into Veldin to meet Ratchet.

The small synopsis mentioned that Ratchet was the "last of his kind." Since we didn't learn anything about the Lombaxes until the Future games, perhaps there will be some scenes about Emperor Tachyon and the Drophyds ransacking Fastoon and Ratchet getting sent off to Solana?
