Undertale is 7 hours long at the most for the best ending, you could probably finish in time for Xenoblade X unless you want to explore all dialogue.

On that game. Damn, was hoping the GameXplain discussion would give us a good idea of what to expect... Then Chugga starts babbling about open world games being really rare nowadays and that JRPGs haven't been funny since The World Ends With You. I respect you, Emile, but the bias is radioactive when you forget Bethesda and Atlus exist. Doesn't help MasaeAnela only added to what he said and Derrick seems to be really out of the loop with anything that's not Nintendo. Gah, gonna have to wait for official reviews.

They're good when done right, but too many games nowadays make huge worlds with stable framerate and put nothing worth in them; might as well be linear and save memory. But I don't really expect X to do any less than Chronicles(Chugga mentioned having at least 70 hours already), so gushing over that is pointless. I want to know if the plot tries too hard again or focuses on its best, and maybe if the gameplay is balanced enough that you can leave (non-timed) sidequesting for later without being underleveled or underequipped(a problem with both Chronicles(at the least with some weapons iirc) and FFXII, which is where I started with realtime RPGs).
