Corrupted save [CLOSED]

Anyone else lose their entire game because of a corrupted save? I was level 22 and lost it all. Majorly sucks!

No i have not but, this is why i back up my iphone every day (so if one of my games gets corrupted I can just use yesterdays back up and only loose 1 day of stuff).

@mjkeywest. We are currently investigating this issue. Would you be willing to help us out by providing some more info on the issue?

1. What device are you playing on?
2. What time of day did this happen for you (including time zone)?
3. Did you receive an error message? (it probabaly said something like "Alchemy Report Handler ERROR:"
4. Did you receive a crash (game kicked you out to your home screen) prior to receiving this error?
5. Any other info that you think would be useful to us?

Did you guys get this figured out? I have been playing everyday for the last 2-3 months. Today I opened it up and received a script error. Not sure what it said. It then reverted to the tutorial. I had just bought hothead and getting ready to get his new home smilie I have spent upwards of $30 on this game and I am super bummed.

I am using an iPad 4th gen.
Time of day 4:30 cst jan 23
No crash, just error then reverted to tutorial.
I tried reinstalling the game with no luck.
I had no backups..

If there is no solution, is there any way to get credit towards other games? Or able to look at purchase history some how and at least restore gems and purchased skylanders etc?

Yep, same as mine. I was able to restore from backup. But Orville had indicated they had patched it to prevent that from happening. I would PM him.

Sorry to hear that you have been effected by this bug. We currently don't have a way to restore your save. We are working on compensation strategy but unfortunately I am not able to provide an ETA at this time.
