Probably out of stock, when sellers are out of stock they hike the price so they don't have to cancel the listing. When they receive stock the re adjust the price to normal.

Once again almost nobody on this site understands anything about ebay, they just like to waste their own time by searching for "ebay fails" and post their findings which are completely wrong. The one that sold only sold for $110 a very small markup over original MSRP.

This has been posted 400 times in this topic, when a seller is out of stock on an item they will often keep the listing going by setting the price to far more than anybody would be willing to pay for it. This way nobody buys it but they can keep the listing active without getting charged to put up a new listing later. If somebody happens to buy an item at this massive markup they would no doubt find the item in question and ship it out asap.

^The seller must be in the process of moving and isn't able to ship out purchases right now, hence why he has his price so outrageously high because he knows no one will buy it at that price point. It's done to "hold" a listing either while no inventory is available or while you're unable to sell/ship so he doesn't have to pay the listing fees again to re-list later.

Yeah, this is why I queried it as I did not immediately associate the high price with trying to stop potential sales. I figured PL would not have pointed it out otherwise and do recall insane prices from this seller even when he was trying to make a sale.

I personally bought from the sellers before, and found out any crazy high price is a means of saving the ebay post until stock becomes available or something to that effect, but they are moving out of my state, which sucks for me, as they were local and gave great local deals.
