You know I wouldn't be surprised if Activision, or another video gaming company may have come up with a similar idea anyway. Come on, there is a chance of something similar to Skylanders existing, because Skylanders isn't really a big part of little Goonro. And it neccesarily might not have been called Skylanders, it may have been under a different name.

Skylanders simply would never have existed, as it was planned to be a Spyro game from the start of development. The original title was Spyro's Kingdom. Without the first game in Spyro history, no other Spyro games would have existed.
