The stats of the S2s are a little higher when compared to their S1 counterpart.

Yes, their stats are the same. Its just that instead of being out of 100 possible, its out of 150 possible. And both series 1 and 2 can increase to level 15 in Giants. Also, keep in mind that the trading card stats and the game stats are not carbon copies of each other. For instance, luck is not really a utilized stat in Spyro's Adventure, unless I'm misunderstanding something.

What I want to know, is what the difference is in heroic challenges. It appears the series 2 unlock a new heroic challenge for their character. Series 1 skylanders do not. This bothered me at first. But then I realized that the series 1 skylanders can still do the new challenges and gain a heroic challenge level above 32. If a series 1 skylander can do the original 32, the new 24, and the new characters 16, that would mean that a heroic challenge level of 80 is possible. But I don't think this is so. Why I think is that the reposes and series 1 figures are segregated to their series challenges. A series one cynder can only do series 1 challanges, and series 2 cynder can only do series 2 challenges. All skylanders can do the new character challenges.

Can anyone confirm this thought?

Nope, my Series 1 Prism Break finished the new Speed Heroics. I don't think the actual speed raised though.

Sorry for the caps, but it DEPENDS ON THE CHARACTER....

Cynder 1 out of 100
55,75,85,45

Cynder2 out of 150
55,75,855,45

So that means either the stats are the same.
Or,
Series two is actually weaker because the max is 150.

Zook 1 of 100
70, 85,20,70

Zook 2 of 150
80, 85,20, 85

DS 1 out of 100
80,80,60,30

DS 2 out of 150
100,80,60, 40

So depending on how you look at it.
The series 2 are acktually weaker to the baseline of 150.
But number number, the info is the same, more, or less.

The challenges are just like the adventure packs, they just had enemy switch outs and a graphics upgrade. There may only be a couple of exceptions.

Glad heroic challenges are gone. Imagine doing 80 per skylander. That's 6400 challenges. No thank you.

the reason why i though there were 40 or 48 heroics is because the heroic challenge level on the stats screen looks only two-thirds filled for a series 1 character who has all 32 of SA's HC. I know this because i have all of series 1, and have completed all 32 for all the 37 series ones. (Dont ask me how long it took, lol)

There are 48 heroics. The 8 in game unlocks are the 8 characters without reposes and 40 different series 2 characters. Punch, Granite, the Lightcores and any other variants just unlock the same challenge as their standard counterpart.

This is good news. Because it means that having series 1, i dont need to buy the reposes to max out my HC level. Just get one of each of the 48 characters. There are 16 new characters in Giants.
