I actually bought the 3DS game before I bought the Wii game, and I'd overall say I still prefer the 3DS game over the console game due to the higher difficulty, heavier focus on combat, and the more fast paced action where you can run really fast and jump all around. However I noticed something the other day that's kind of disappointing, which is that none of the characters released after wave 2 are all that fun to play as in the 3DS game.

Wave 1 had a lot of awesome characters for the 3DS game such as Flameslinger, Chop-Chop, Stump Smash, Boomer, Voodood, Whirlwind and Trigger Happy, and Wave 2 had really awesome characters to play as on 3DS with Dino-Rang, Hex, and Wrecking Ball. Yet after that, there really weren't any other characters that I'd say were worth buying for the 3DS game. I guess Vicarious Visions felt nobody would still be playing it by the time Wave 3 came around, so they didn't put as much effort into the 3DS characters?

Hopefully with Skylanders Giants they put in the effort to make all the new characters good, and not just the first two waves. Though what few good characters there are in the 3DS game, they're a blast to play as.

Gotta agree with you there. Though to be fair I think Lightning Rod is worth it.

Derp. Forgot about Lightning Rod. Yeah, he's pretty awesome on both games. I always forget about Lightning Rod because I hate his figure so much.

I know that Sunburn is utter crap. I had such high hopes for him too. ;_;

3DS Skylanders is real crappy. So is Wii U. Only Toys For Bob has a good studio who actually sets the standard.

I actually tend to enjoy the 3DS game more than the console game. The console game is just too slow paced and doesn't have enough action.

And actually, Wham-Shell is pretty fun to use on the 3DS game having played it a bit more with him.

Your opinion. I actually find compared to the 3DS game that the CONSOLE version is the rubbish one. Also, the Wii U CONSOLE isn't even out yet.

It's made by some studio called "Vicarious Visions". Only Toys For Bob does well.

Look at TFB's past games and you'll actually see most of them are regarded as mediocre.
