That's a lot of apps and skylanders to buy. Personally, I've never thought of owning a kindle.

Hopefully one of the games will come to the Android market because I don't ever plan on getting a Kindle either or an ipod/pad ( I'm not a huge fan of Apple products).

I have an iPhone and honestly, it's terrible IMHO. I'm not big on Apple products either.

Anyhow, not interested in Kindle Fire at all, but that's awesome news for owners!

Unfortunately, most developers are avoid Android like the plague as piracy/copying is so rife on that platform.

I am a major slowpoke here, but I just realized...

Kindle FIRE.

And Flameslinger is a fire type.

Anyway, my technological knowledge is stuck in the mesozoic, I thought kindles were just for e-books. Guess I was wrong :3

Oh man, I'm so buying this app when it becomes available! This is such a great idea. I mean, I can buy figures for use in the app and they'll ship the figure to me after? ...not to mention Cloud Patrol will very likely be updated with Giants figures too when that comes out..., I'm done. Looks like I'm doing all my regular Giants purchases from inside the Cloud Patrol app through Amazon.

...Cloud Patrol is nothing like Angry Birds. It's not trying to be Angry Birds. It'll never sell as well as Angry Birds. It doesn't need to, they have the entire Skylanders franchise to back them up without trying to compete with something as petty as Angry Birds.

Exactly, that's expected - it's a console game, and Angry Birds is a mobile game. Besides, Activision have console rights to Angry Birds - so it would be like competing with themselves.

iOS games have never been that good anyway. 55% are arcade games most of which quickly get boring, 40% are non-game apps, and 5% is other.

Looks like you can buy it now for android, I have not tried from my tablet yet to see if it works.

Edit well it does not work with the droids I have. Hope someone else had better luck.
