I'm so frustrated with all of this. Why can't I look at you as a really good friend anymore? Why can't you be like the others, where I can easily pull my head out of the clouds without ever having to confront them about my feelings? Why does this have to last for years? Why do I have to go through this? All I want for you is to be happy and support you through your journey in life, especially with something as wonderful as what you're going through right now, but my own feelings are getting in the way of that and I hate it. It feels like no matter how hard I try to move on and forget the feelings, it always rushes back to me like a hard punch in the face. I thought I had finally moved on this time. I'm tired of facing constant heartbreak from silent rejection, so why do I keep trying?

The more times it happens, the more I'm starting to feel like I really am just off to the side...
And when you need to keep those promises you make to others, then I'm the one that gets thrown under the bus. And whenever I try to make sure it happens, feels like I'm the one being selfish. And when I said before to myself I'm alright with being the sacrifice so long ago, the truth is it hurts to be one. But I'm just too nice and too worried that if I asked that I want you to try just a little harder that you'd stop trying at all. The only thing I can do is suffer and smile an unreal smile, yeah while you don't take these things to heart and while it may seem small to everyone else, to me it's important and crushes the hopes that I had of these thing ever happening. Complaining makes me feel like maybe I'm too sensitive or I take these things too importantly. Whatever I do, I'm gonna hurt, I'm not gonna like it, because I'll feel like the biggest crybaby or that I take things that seem small to everyone else really important to myself. Whatever I do... I'm going to hurt and break on the inside, whether I let it out or keep it in, because the bad thoughts and fears. It's going to hurt, no matter what I do and all I can do no matter what path I choose is to lay in my suffering wishing it could end.

I hate that no matter what I make, no matter the effort, the time, the love or even the pride it brings me the day of completion I ALWAYS look back on it and cringe. It isn't even years after when my skills improve but often just a week or even a day that I see it again and hate it, hate feeling like some untalented moron for ever putting it where people can see.

ARGH! Right now, I’m simultaneously filled with intense frustration for the Spyro subreddit and unbelievable love for DarkSpyro. I really hate how the upvote/downvote thing is abused. You can’t even mention TLOS/Skylanders there without getting downvoted. Everyone gangs up on you when you do. How can an innocent discussion about Spyro’s future get so toxic?! I have tried my best to be positive but I’ve had enough. I’ve almost fallen into the downvote trap a few times, but you know what? I’ve upvoted the unfairly downvoted comments instead. I won’t let arguments over a video game get me down. Instead of expressing my sheer anger at r/Spyro I’m declaring my love of this place instead. I’ve been on this site for, what, 5 years? And I don’t remember ever getting into such abrasive squabbles or felt like I’m being intimidated by others. It’s not perfect but I think DarkSpyro is generally a really friendly place, and I hope it continues to be so. I’ve deleted my supposedly offensive comments and I think I’m done with r/Spyro, if not Reddit as a whole. This place may be hell on mobile but it feels like home.

Am I okay? I mean, my cat died while I was away from home and I had to make the call to put her down over a phone call after finishing a paper and still had to get up and do more stuff and that's just on top of everything else that's gone wrong and it hasn't even fully hit because I'm not there and it'll probably hit like hell the second I get home but yeah sure I'm fine just feel horrible because who makes that decision and isn't even there for her own damn cat that's been with her since age 8. meeeeeh |
