And now back on with the paths. Which path do you favour for the fiery Ignitor?

Do you prefer to upgrade his Flame Form or his Flame Blade?

You can check out Ignitor's upgrades list to remember which upgrades are from where.

i think soul of the flames better but blademaster has combos. also ignitors megszuch's so she chose blademaster

Soul of the flame is best. Ignitor's sword skills don't compare to that of chop-chop and who doesn't find fun in the idea of a guy streaking around and burning his enemies?

Soul of Flame makes him a really fun character, but there's something about swinging his sword for attacks that makes him really satisfying down the other path.

I don't see how so many people prefer Blademaster. I went down it and it's boring as crap in my honest opinion and not even that powerful. I hated him.
Then I reset him. He's one of my favorites now.

Needless to say, in MY opinion Soul of the Flame is so much more fun and powerful.

I screamed when I saw that Blademaster was winning. When I first got the guy in a Camo, Warnado, and Ignitor 3-pack at the back of a rack in a Best Buy, I peed my pants (figuratively). So when I got home, I instantly put Ignitor on, and loved him. I chose the sword, and HATED it. Seriously, I restarted him right when I tried him in PvP, because I lost 12 rounds in a row,EVEN TO CHOP-CHOP. CHOP-CHOP, guys. So when I chose the Soul path, all my troubles went away. I slept better, quit pulling my hair out, biting my nails uncontrollably, and most of all, CRUSHED my opponents in PvP. So, uh, yeah, go SotF.

I haven't tried Blademaster so I can't say it sticks, but I can say Soul of the Flame is a fun and powerful path (on the Wii anyway).. I'm surprised BM is winning the poll too. In the upgrade paths thread more people say SotF over BM.
If you like BM though that's nice. I'm sure that's a cool path too.

I went with SOTF. I have tried both paths and SOTF is WAY better then Blademaster.

SOUL OF THE FLAME I prefer ALL THE WAY. Why do people prefer blade master sotf is way better, It makes ignitor unique and powerful and in the top ten for sure, and blademaster isn't better just because blade attacks are his main move.

P.S. All of us who chose sotf can beat most any skylander. You guys who choose bm can only beat half hahahahahahahahahaha

According to my iPad app about paths it even has a very high overall ranking for it, which btw is 9.5 rating. Out of ten, stealth elf was the only one with a full overall ten on blade path
