I LOVE the Chronicler and I was just wondering if anyone else does and if they wish that he would return in the next game (DOTD)

BTW who voices him?

The Chronicler is voiced by Martin Jarvis and no I don't particularly like the Chronicler. I used to but not anymore.

He said Don't Go To Malefor, because He was Malefor, and therefore, Spyro would escape his clutches in the fortress, and he thought better when Spyro wanted to get Cynder thinking of destroying both pests at once

Um, nice analogy, "IamCynder", but your idea, however, is kind of flawed (not to critisize you or anything). You see, the Dark Master (aka Malefor) needed to escape from Convexity (in Spyro 6: The Legend Of Spyro: A New Beginning) and escape from the Well Of Souls (in Spyro 7: The Legend Of Spyro: The Eternal Night) before he could become truly free. And also another thing. If the Chroniclor was the Dark Master (aka Malefor), then why didn't he take the chance to defeat Spyro then and there? And why was he willing to let Spyro go after Spyro insisted on saving his friends? If you ask me, I think that the Chroniclor was trying to protect Spyro from this evil for some time before he finally confronted the evil that was out there.

Yes, but he knew exactly how they were used, he is either a purple in disguise, or he was The DM's friend before he turned evil

Ok. Although I still disagree strongly. Sorry if I have been seeming rude but I just don't really like the ideas concept much and there are a couple of flaws that I can point out and they just bother me a little to much.

All that we do know is that the Chronicler's records date back to "nearly" the beginning of time. Given that he ended up writing out Malefor's exile from the dragon kingdom to begin with, I can't help but think he'd be pulling more strings than intended.

Maybe he knew about it from the tales about the purple dragon. He is, in fact, the keeper of all of the records of the entire Dragon Race over time.

And BTW we probablly won't see him in DOTD because there will be no Dragon Time so why have the Chronichler? I will miss him though if he dosen't make an appearence. smilie(

what is with everyone being obsessed that the Chronicler being Malefor? It said that Malefor needed to be freed from the mountain Malefor. The Chronicler is not in the mountain Malefor so how could he be freed?
