A slight alteration of Chop Chop. Don't worry, that ring only cost a buck at the thrift shop. Though admittedly it's a very nice ring. For some reason that extra ring makes Chop Chop look like he came from some ancient civilization.

Actually, I kind of wish I had a female cousin who was still into bedazzling or whatever those little gem beads were called. I'd totally do over a figure like the Pez dispensers I've always secretly wanted.

For some reason I keep tinkering with Drill Sergeant. Here I did something pretty risky, and chopped his drill off and re-attached it in a different position. I think that when you take those arm plates into consideration, this positioning of the "arms" actually looks quite a bit better.

How did you take off his drill? Mine doesn't want to it just bends out a little.

I used these to chop off the drill.


Not sure what the tool is called, (they aren't just scissors, just to clarify) but it chopped off the drill like I was cutting a brick of mozzarella cheese. These toys are pretty fragile. :/

My wife and I got interested in this idea after reading this post and decided to make a few customs of our own with some of our duplicates...Heres what we came up with tonight



The picture doesn't really do the recolor justice....The center one is a dark red and not the same orangeish red color as regular TH....and this was colored on a LTH

I love the stealth elf though!

They look like secateurs... But they're more for plants...

But I've seen that before, and it's familiar and I can't remember the actual name...

So I figured this would be the best place to display these. Let me know if anyone is interested in purchasing or trading with me for it. First attempt. Acrylic paints, and I have a few touchups to do after a second glance. But yes, have a look see. It looks 10x better in person I think.

all the repaints look really good I like em a lot.

to dinohex, I personly like what you did with chopchops ring and your drill sergant but I dont mean you to take offense when I say you should try to work a bit harder on the other ones where you just added stuff. I really love your piccalo flame slinger and your dark drobot but besides that I think you should stick to the painting more then the dress up. this is just a matter of my oppinion none elses.

I LOVED YOUR STUFF ON PAINTING AND IS A GOOD FIRST ATTEMPT JUST DONT GET TO CARRIED AWAY.

Those accessorised Skylanders are awesome if you ask me! I've gotten a great few laughs from some of them (that Slam Bam is PERFECT), and its a great way to customise figures if you don't have the paint (or if anyones parents wont allow permanent additions to their figures).

Nothing particularly fancy, but I prefer to customise stuff to look like my OCs... so it does leave a rather uninterestingly painted figure.
Its not the first time I wish I still had my masses of Lego. One of those chain pieces would be awesome cut down and super glued to the wrist cuffs (So it looks like theyve escaped from some kind of prison)
