No, it's different, Razz. This article has a peek of what the 3DS version is like, the Skylanders' home is called Radiant Isles, and the main villain is different as well called Hektore.

*Gasp* And look Dark Spyro's got dark powers different from Spyro's fire attacks.

If the starter pack wasn't the same price as the console version, I'd almost be tempted, but... My experience with handheld games is that they cost way more than they're worth and should not be priced the same as console games. I might look for Dark Spyro separately, maybe, but I'm not sure. I thought he was pretty ridiculous as a concept in LoS, but Skyro is pretty good at redeeming things for me.

I wonder how you can erase data from these figures (or even if you can)?
