Some of you may remember that they said a while ago that the starter pack came with 3 statues and 3 cards... Well, the 3DS has an augmented reality system built into the console where you show a card to the camera and then it comes up on screen in 3D. Maybe this will be the method of inputting characters into the 3DS game... Maybe the only reason why the cards come with the 'Starter Pack' is because one starter pack is compatible with every system (I reckon that you will be able to buy a version of the game which is just the stand alone disc).

So, what do you think?

That's what I was thinking, only with the toys rather than the cards.

Yes, that seems to make sense.

I see what you're getting at and it seems very possible, the Starter Pack having something for every system the game is on. I think something like that will happen, or some way of getting the toy portal able to be used on the 3DS.

Hmm, that sounds pretty cool... Except then the characters wouldn't be compatible with other systems, which would suck- plus it kinda ruins the whole toy concept...

Still, it's a great idea!

The starter pack comes with toys and cards... So I assume that if you were to buy a toy then it would come with a card...

Yes, but she means that if you only get the 3DS version, the toys would be a waste.

But if you use cards for the 3DS, what point is in the toys?

To use them as toys? I think that's one of the main points why Activision wanted to use toys...

They aren't really toys to me when you can't move their limbs. They're just statues. smilie

How can one starter pack be compatible with all consoles plus mobile and PC? I get why the toys and portal would be, but the game itself must vary with each console, right? Or were you reffering just to the toys and such?

Portal hooked to a USB or what it's called.
Same for all thingys that can support them to.
Maybe a wirething for mobile.
