I kinda doubt it. Spyro was designed by the character designer of Shrek.

Heck, I think they took his eye design off of Sonic, which in turn is based off of Mickey Mouse's eye design.

^This. I'm not being negative, I really don't see any resemblance from these toys to Spyro's design. And besides, the character designer of Shrek designed Spyro, and there is no proof that these toys inspired him to draw Spyro like that. Spyroo, you probably either mistook these toys as a possible reference to Spyro's design in Skylanders or mistook them as something Skylanders Spyro is based off of..

I see a small resemblance, but that doesn't mean it's inspiration, just coincedental look-alikes.

It's like with the references we have found. While things like the sheep are most defintely a throwback, others are more obscure or are just carried over mechanics from past Spyro games, or common gaming mechanics.

Tbh, this is just a coincidence. I know you don't think these toys have any resemblance to Spyro's current design, but for me, it's just a coincidence. Not official, but a coincidence.

I didn't mean it earlier. For some weird reason, it's a little funny to me. Sorry about that...... smilie;

Well, seeing SFRB's picture "How to Train your Spyro" making Spyro in HTTYD style, and Aura said that the characters were designed by the character designer of Shrek and HTTYD was made by the same people it makes sense that Spyro loks like this.

Did you understand that?

BTW, the green dinosaur is my favourite.
