Create a Soundtrack for Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure [CLOSED]

Not sure if this belongs in this topic or the forum games topic, but basically what songs would you guys add to the SKL soundtrack if you had a choice?

URLs, names, or youtube vids are all okay.

I would, but I have no clue how to compose. Nor have I ever composed. Nor remixed. Nor had a composing program. Could somebody point me in the right direction? smilie

The only theme included that was in the game was the title theme. The other 8 were awesome remixes. smilie

Finale is a pretty easy program to use if you already know how to write music. But of you don't it's still pretty easy to pick up. I used it for a project in drama last semester and I'd forgotten all the music notation I'd ever leaned in middle school long before then.

  • Indigo Plateau theme from Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow.
  • Canalave City's evening theme from Pokemon D/P.
  • The route between Hearthome City and Solaceon Town's (and between Hearthome City and Pastoria City for that matter) theme from D/P

    Oh jeez. The best song from Sonic Unleashed IMO (well, several songs) are.

    Shamar (village) Day theme
    Rooftop Run Day theme
    Windmill Isle (level) Day theme
    Sonic Boss theme
    Werehog Boss theme.
    Dark Gaia Boss theme.
    Dragon Road Day theme.
    Shamar (level) Day theme.
    Apotos (level) Night theme.
    Eggmanland (level) Day theme.
    Eggmanland (level) Night theme.

    I really want to know what Empire City sounds like. But I have the PS2 version only, and the completely cut out Empire City.

    BTW, these songs are from the PS2 game.

    PS2 doesn't have Empire City OR Tornado Defense? God I really really really need to get a 360, and SU for the 360.

    In terms of soundtrack, I'd put EVERY MDK2 song in there. MDK2's soundtrack is just so freaking awesome! Go to youtube and search these songs, and you will see what I mean.

    Yes, but that was on iTunes, not on a physicsl CD. Guide You Home is also on iTunes.

    I found a DotD one once on eBay. Me no buy Spyro OSTs though.
    Me use Free Youtube to MP3 converter from DVDVideoSoft.

    That program works fine and now I am able to download youtube vids to my MP3 player.

    I find it interesting how outdoing Rebecca Kneubuhl and Gabriel Mann is looking like a possibility. Maybe the next generation of Spyro games will be even better!!

    These aren't Hans Zimmer-esque either, but I would love to see this kind of music in any game. These come from Adult Swim's between shows bumpers. It would do a good job setting the mood for certain levels, IMO. Warning: some of this music is abstract, especially the third and fifth one.
