You know what I mean by main character. As in, she is the only important figure and she always wins the fight, when when it would normally be impossible since she's overpowered.

Actually, in Revenant, Cynder is shot, not killed, but shot.
And spyro is damn near buried alive.

A deafening crack resounded, as if the very planet had broke in two. An immensely powerful earthquake rocked the infirmary, causing yet another cave in. Nobody was hurt, but the already crowded room shrank by about half. Cynder, feverish, briefly awoke with a jolt and said, "He did it...Spyro's done it..."

I nose that, just saying. Sounds like some of what they want is in those fanfics. Also, I need readers lol.

I'm sure it's a good fic, but I doubt what I want is in it: dead Cynder and Spyro either pairing up with Elora or declaring himself an asexual. Or, y'know, any story that isn't about LoS dragons (they're not the only creatures in the world, for goodness' sake!).

Cynder isn't dead, but is hurt pretty bad several times, same with Spyro. The classic characters aren't there...yet...and right now, spyro and cynder are locked up in a max-sec prison waiting for Halo characters, "Martaan Trilogy" characters, "Apocalypse Trilogy" characters, RvB characters, and CoD: WaW/CoD: BO characters to bust them out, sustaining abuse by the US military-both verbal and physical-at the same time. No kidding.

EDIT: they are also damn near killed a few times.

You combined LoS with Halo, CoD, and several other franchises. Sorry, but that sounds like a bit too much for one fanfiction. Odds are it will eventually explode into a mess.

And Razz, it sounds like you're a bit picky about your fanfictions. =P

Its not a mess, they are minor characters, the main ones are
Spyro, Cynder, Piermont(Martaan Trilogy/Apocalypse Trilogy), Randall Fox(MT/AT), General Elliot(MT/AT not the Shining Force: Legacy of Great Intention character), and Master Chief John S117(Halo)

That is still combining too many different franchises that for the most part have no relevance to each other. Eventually your fanfiction will collaspe upon itself.

Regardless, it sounds like a bit of a mess. It's not really a smart idea to put two franchises that have nothing to do with each other together, let alone several.

FYI, MT/AT are a complete original work. I could publish them for real and they would be nothing like existing works. Characters are all mine, original, settings, brands, names (w. the exception of Gen Elliot which was coincindental)

A character in MT/AT was named Jacob Carter, and when I went to a new town and a new high school, I found out that one of those students' names was Jacob Carter, kinda funny actually.

Given that every moment using the computer causes me pain, yes, I am extremely picky with my fanfiction. I hate most of what I've read and if anyone wants me as a reader they've got to be not only a good writter but dealing with something every other fan hasn't botched already. In general, unless you're someone like Scarab Dynasty or Ookani, I'm not going to read your Spyro fic. It's nothing personal, I just don't want to waste my time with something that is likely to be unpleasant.

And, uh, say, isn't this a Skylanders fan topic? Why aren't we talking about/writing some Skylanders fic instead?

I see what you mean. Most Spyro fanfictions tend to be cliche and done several times over, and are just plain cheesy rather than interesting. That's why I've never posted in the fanfiction section of this site. Because I don't bother to read them since I know they will be something I've read several times over.

And since I've had writer's block for months and a lack of more details of the characters, any thoughts of me writing a Skylanders fanfiction will not happen for quite some time.

Well, one way mine differs, is I made it so it is more like a realistic game over some random, screwing around, I'm bored story (such as a weird and disturbing fic I read by some dude called the Gunslinger, where spyro was a rapist and...ah...nvrmind.)

I have only written two one shot fanfics, one Classic Spyro, one LoS.
I wasn't very proud of them, but people love them....customers are always right, even when they are completely wrong, I guess.

Oh, and I have to get to doing that fanfic challenge CAV set sometime!

I have written or am writing two so far.
One was like eleven parts
The other is a co-op with the author of Two Worlds and The Enemy Within-crazyspyrofan. We are on chapter sixteen or seventeen I think
