Cost or Gimmick? [CLOSED]

Am I the only one whos not getting this mainly because of the cost & gimmick? Most people have said that main reasons they don't like this is because of the change in spyro. Well, yes, if this was a fully blown GOOD original spyro game I would pay 100 dollars for it but I am asking, is the main reason you are not getting/ don't like this game either the cost or the gimmick?

I am surprised that many people on these forums will rack up 70 dollars for a game that looks rather avarage (especially as the game will probably not be nearly as good with only 3/32 characters).

Yep, standard price for me too. I'm happy to pay it, seeing as I live in one of the most expensive countries in the world.

Yes, and for this money you get not only the game but also Spyro figure and three other figure´s, and the portal. I think that's a good price.

I'll probably order this from the US, unless there's a reason to get it from here (read: we get it first).

Your US game wont work in your UK wii. And vise versa.

^ I used to have a workaround, until Ninty sent out an upgrade that disables it. D: Which sucked, since I'd imported SSBB from the USA ;(

In Europe Spyro games are usually released 1-2 weeks later than in the US. I can wait for that.

It won't kill me, so price isn't a problem.

And regarding the gimmick thing, I refer you to the several posts I've made talking about that. I can't be arsed to repeat myself right now.

For us Australians, it will probably be atleast 100 dollars. And I think the most expensive game I ever bought was 70 dollars (And Super Mario 64 DS was NOT an avarage game IMO)

Mine was New Super Mario Bros. DS. It literally cost over 200 dollars, but it came with the special edition Lite and a Sonic DS kit. Well worth it! smilie

I'm just hoping it won't be a massively disappointing disappointment like Animal Crossing Wii, though...

^Oh, God, I hated Let's Go to the City... Sold it within a month or so >.> Wild World will always be my favourite, imported it from the US before the PAL release, hehe.

I know I must sound quite typical, here, but I thought WW was the best- even if it was slightly dumbed down from the GC and N64 versions, it suited the DS purr-fectly :3
