Well, that movie has had a few trailers out for about a month, and it's had a very well designed and information covered website since December 2009. So why doesn't Spyro have his movie website dealt with? The Animation Picture Company seems to have taken their site for the movie down ( http://www.tapconline.com/Spyro.html ), and yours, Velvet Octopus', doesn't have anything but the lovely poster and the Info email.

So, if the movie hasn't been canceled yet, which wouldn't be too great to hear, why not get a website up for it? The main thing that seems to be pulling the movie down is it doesn't even have a single webpage that's updated regularly by an official source.

Also, a video on You Tube (here is a link: http://www.youtube.com/watch#!v=wC3HSrgJsLE ), claims it has found the movie's credit music. It sounds lovely, but compared to what we heard in the three games the movie is based on, it's totally out of theme.


So pretty much, I want to know this:
1. What is going on with the movie in general?
2. When is the movie REALLY going to be released?
3. How far along is the movie?
4. What's with the constant delays? If the movie had been released around Christmas 2009, we could expect to already have a DVD and Blu-Ray release.
5. Can we get more information on staff? Like who's doing music? Who's writing the script?
6. Can you get an official website up for the movie if it's not canceled? Or at least get a GOOD page for it up that has occasional updates with the date and time of individual updates?
7. At the soonest time, can we get some teaser art, a trailer or two, and maybe even concept videos?


I could probably go on, but I'll stop for now. I look forward to getting a reply.

I'm feeling quite Spyro-y today. Guess I'll pop Sonic Heroes out of my PS3 and put TEN back in.
And if anyone remembers me trying to record TEN's OST, I failed. I got a lot of music, but the quality was bad, with choppiness and chittering in the music. Stupid capture software. Wish that damn DVD recorder hadn't taken a dump on me.

I sent it to one of the people who work in Velvet Octopus, they post their emails on the front page.

At first he asked me what company I was in, and replied that I'm not in any company, but a Spyro fan. This was his reply:

Keep your fingers crossed the film is still in development I’m afraid.

You would've told him that if he asked you what company you were in. I wouldn't go as far as saying 'it's none of your business' to someone who could be working on the Spyro Movie, it's rude.

Yep. "In development" means it may or may not be being worked on. Some films have been "in development" for decades. It was nice of him to reply to you, though, Aura.

yeah at least he replied. Well i hope they back out of it, unless the director is like michael bay which does his absolute best to make his movies good, spyro is doomed im afraid for the movie point, reason i say this is becasue the movie might make people not want to buy future games or the next game now unless its so great and appealing.

Unless they directly told me not to do it, I would... I asked them and they said no thats a different thing... Well, for me not but for some people it is...
