Please Help lighting the fuse!?!?!? [CLOSED]

Hello I have a Wii and I am stuck in the underground cove and I all I have to do to finish the level is to light the fuse but I can only use the freeze element and I can not switch to the fire element. I have tried to change it from the menu but it will not let me. I have looked all over and I just can not figure out if there is something else I should do to make it breathe fire and not ice.
I have been stuck for days any suggestions are really appreciated!!!

Sorry what I meant is that I can only blow ice and not fire so I can not light the fuse. I will try the + and C and see if that works.
Do you know what C is on the old type controller?
All help is really appriciated!

Always read the instruction booklet before playing the game then you wont get stuck smilie

I never read the instruction booklet. I'd always rather figure it out myself. I've always done that.
