Nah, he's got that crest on the back of his head like Ignitus cos he is Ignitus. I don't think the horns are that different - just a result of the different animation thing in the picture.

The single horn/spike on the forehead is obviously part of the helmet. To me, it's just Ignitus decked in armour. That's all.
