Because it's the spooky season, I want to hear your scary stories!

This can be scary personal experiences, stories that you've written or heard or even just something made up on the spot. I want to hear it all! :)

I don’t really have any personal horror stories. I have a brief, if that’s alright: As a kid, I woke up at three in the morning once and thought a bedpost was a grey alien. My brother and I stayed awake until daylight, just staring at it and whispering. Kinda scared, mostly confused and amused. Bone-chilling, right? Gonna give you nightmares for a week. lol

I recommend Junji Ito’s work. You can find The Enigma of Amigara Fault online, as well as some of his other stories. Real gross body horror.

when i was 13 i used to get sleep paralysis every time i fell asleep. even if it was just a nap or something. one of the first hallucinations i remember was seeing my dog without his head. doesn’t sound too scary but honestly i had no idea what was going on lol
