He is a bad guy. People like him are absolutely not needed in societies that consider themselves civilized and having functional systems of justice. Vigilantism just perpetuates chaos which in long term causes more societal harm than good. There is a reason why we people have developed and keep on improving and developing justice systems and maintain civilization and one of those reasons is to keep people like him in check.

That thinking only makes more righteous murderers...

Like 1 hand less child molesters on the other he is still a murderer. Idk if it goes out of hands we can a lot of issues that I do not know how to word.

One the one hand, I'd rather have him in my neighborhood than the child molestors, and I'd have shed no tears if he succeeded.

One the other hand, the problem with vigilantes is that society can't hold them accountable.

Basically, I don't think random people should be burning child molestors alive, I think it's something we should all agree on as a community and do in a controlled setting.
