I shouldn’t even respond to this, because I know you mean well, but hi! I’m deaf. I can still hear mostly fine, but my left ear is nearly compromised. Aside from having things occasionally repeated, having to walk to a single side when I talk with someone and not being able to listen to “I Want You Back” by the Jackson Five properly, I’m pretty much the same as you.

Also, hearing aids exist. Just because someone is deaf, doesn’t mean they can’t communicate well. I would appreciate y’all not making such a big deal out of a disability.

1. I didn't say they can't communicate well. Signing is still a form of language (And also, texting )
2. Not every deaf person wants hearing aids, I know several that don't but look happy without them.
