Like hypothetically one day the world is hit by a gay beam from outer space and now 90% of the world is gay and 10% is straight.

How do you suppose this would this affect human society?

Easy for me. If I suddenly turn gay I'll just view traps instead.

What about bisexual people? Do they stay the same?

People would say "miss me with that straight ****", I'd imagine.

Only humans. I'm more curious about the social ramifications rather than ecological ramifications.

Nothing would be different at first, governments all over the world and would be confused to such a phenomenon and we may not see any major changes in the first few years.

Well, I mean, as already mentioned there's the whole case of lovers breaking up because they are no longer attracted to eachother. I think that'd be an immediate large-scale change. I imagine this would cause some kind of worldwide depression, everyone becoming depressed similarly to the aftermath of a breakup. Or something like that. I'm no expert on relationships, I just know that anything along these lines can't be good.

But if everyone were turned gay, they'd just find other partners they were better attracted to.

Again, I'm no expert on relationships, but I don't think it'd be that simple. Imagine having someone you've loved for ten years or whatever, then suddenly you're not attracted to them anymore? I think that'd cause some emotional problems.
