When I was in high school and my AP US History teacher showed it, my friend and I analyzed it to death. It says a lot about America in that period

personally i never found it offensive, though i suppose i understand why people would find it offensive though.

what i do find offensive is the cgi movie that came out sometime in 2001. the title has nothing to do with the actual movie. it's called Rudolph and the Island of Misfit Toys, they're maybe on the actual island itself for maybe a few scenes and then they leave to go somewhere else. I think it should have been called "Rudolph and the Toy Taker" or something like that.
