I'm pretty sure there was a kpop thread somewhere in Idle Chatter, but no one goes there so I'm posting it here smilie. So do any of you guys listen to kpop, what groups do you like? How did you get into kpop? Etc, etc.

Personally for myself, I'm actually fairly new, only really getting into it like 2 years ago. My fav group rn is LOONA (Who you should all stan, js). They have awesome music!

Just saying, I'm finally becoming more active here again, so if y'all let this die, Imma do something.

idk i dont see the appeal in listening to **** you cant even understand. like they sound good but you dont know what theyre saying and subtitles dont really make it sound like a song?? if u know what I mean. i used to listen to weird jap crap when i was 12 but it was only cause my other friends did. i have some friends that are obsessed with kpop and i just....dont get it...

Uh....

As for me I listen to quite a bit of Japanese music, can I understand most of it? No. But I just enjoy the music.

So...no indent listen to Kpop. smilie

IMO, you don't need to understand the words being said to enjoy music. I mean, look at opera.

I hear Kpop in the streets whenever I walk around outside. It's pretty catchy. Also I've watched a few kpop videos. Some of them multiple times because of the dancing bikini girls....(Edit: Oh wait, I think the bikini girls were jpop actually).
