Except I've found that everything goes away in the end. All the friendships I made years ago have since drifted away.
Not really keen on making new ones in fear of the same thing happening ...

it's good to laugh at yourself
don't get upset over petty things
finland is a very nice country
you can't expect people to flock to you — you always need to make an effort to reach out
saving pieces of history is important
love (platonic and romantic) is painful but rewarding
even if i don't quite know how to emotionally comfort people i can at least try to make them smile
it smells like poop in gnarlytreesnex's room

That a chill atmosphere is generally good to maintain, but having a little bit of drama sprinkled in there can be fun. I don't think I've seen a forum that's kept a relatively good balance. Regardless, I've come to appreciate turbulent times when they come. Maybe I'm just weird, but it's a weirdness I can accept in myself.

It also taught me that the entirety of the human race needs to be spayed and neutered to make way for our far more superior overlords, the fluffy kitten armada.
