lol, so how about this? We're not getting a trilogy at all. We're only going to get the first game, because activision couldn't be bothered to work on the whole thing. We're wasting time trying to figure out how they'll release all three, because they're not even making them. XD

Let's hope for Spyro 3 that they include a cutscene where Spyro confronts the Sorceress before they fight, instead of it just cutting straight to the fight.

Hmmm... Would you guys rather all three released together, and were, I dunno, a bit rough round the edges, or release separately, but be more or less perfect?

No, like I said, I think you're point is good. ;-) Pretty sure they're releasing them all together, though.

I guess it depends on how long the development was. If they've only been working on it since last year, and release this year, we're probably in trouble in the quality department. If they were working on it since before crash 2015/2016 then I don't think it would make a huge differen.

With Activision? I'm used to disappointment, and that's probably why I don't care as much as I used to. It's a LOT of slaps in the face;

LoS being given to Étranges Libellules, Skylanders being made as a new reboot instead of a Smash Bros/NiGHTs type deal, Swap Force throwing lore out of the window, no sand skylander but goddamn tons of hammer skylanders, no level editor, let VV put an unpopular gimmick as front and center and kill the series, let go TFB staff for something that isn't their fault(Imaginators), tons of unreleased figures, and have I mentioned horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE community management except for MVP Chris at TFB and the odd interview?

The best thing they've done to the series is when they bought themselves out of Vivendi, because if this is not the darkest timeline, I don't want to know what that would be.

BACK to non super depressing subjects, I think they have to add a cutscene regardless to Sorceress' Lair, having everything pop in would be really awkward.

I’d rather have them wait a couple more months and release all the three games together.
There’s no need to rush them out just because this year is Spyro’s 20th birthday, an annoucement and some footage would be more than enough.

They didn’t do it with Crash, why would they now?

Not to mention I don’t see them releasing them separately for 15$/€, and I doubt they would give them a higher price than that.

Just "Spyro: Classic Trilogy" would have been my choice but I dunno how N. Sane worked for Crash since I never played his games (or Spyro's, although I know a little more about Spyro compared to Crash).

Speaking of which, regarding Crash port rumors, I just found something about a website listing a Switch version of N. Sane trilogy. Is this new?

Ah cool. I literally just looked up "n sane trilogy" and it was the first thing that showed up under News.

Given that Crash port rumors and Spyro remake rumors are floating around at the same time, I'm beginning to think there's a kind a connection between them - as in, if one gets confirmed/hinted at, the other is also more likely to happen as well.

I would love the name "dragon realms trilogy," by the way.

If they’d want to make it feel connected to the N. Sane Trilogy, then I’d guess something like “Fired Up Trilogy” or a more punny “Portal-entuous Trilogy” would do just fine.

However, if they were to diverge from that formula, I’d like a name such as “Spyro’s Forgotten Treasures”, referring to both the Forgotten Realms and the preciouses scattered through the levels but also to the games themeselves, which are indeed PS1 gems.

NECA is also doing a new line of Crash Bandicoot figures. There's three right now iirc

So, since I made the other topic about the games shortly before the remasters rumor. What do you guys think they should definitely change about these games? Likely they will change some things, and we'll get that fandom controversy thing going, but I think some small changes would be a thing, like the random sorceress fight at the end of Year of the Dragon that SuperSpyroFan mentioned earlier.

Fixing the softlocks, of course, maybe make the Save Faeries from Spyro 1 actually Zoe? And maybe make Spyro's physics in the first game lighter.

I hope they get the same voice actors for everyone. Tom Kenny was an awesome Spyro. I wonder if he would just do the voice for all three, now. I would think. I hope so.

Bringing Tom Kenny back would be a wonderful thing but I'm not so sure if he will return...

Activision never got the original Crash Bandicoot voice actors for the remake. Luckily, the cast of the trilogy done a great job.

^well, they're the most well known from crash. The most well known from Spyro would be the first four games voices, so I think they might be motivated to bring them back. Additional nostalgia. :-)

I've got a couple of names for the trilogy:

- Spyro the Dragon Supercharged Trilogy
- Spyro the Dragon Flamin' Hot Trilogy

I don't think we should have the "N" in the title, as it's got nothing to do with Crash Bandicoot. And it should be easily pronounced, and not a long word, just so it looks more attractive to kids.

Collector's edition sounds like a different version of something rather than a standalone thing.
A Simple name would be just fine. You don't need too much punch in the name;as long as the game is good and well marketed people will play it.
Spyro the Dragon: Remastered or Spyro the Dragon: Classic Trilogy would be fine.
I wonder how much introduction something like a Classic Spyro remake would really need. The fans certainly don't need it and even a lot of kids will recognize him from Skylanders.

What I hope to see

• Some cut content like the Machinist World
  
• A fourth home world in Spyro 2
  
• More character development and relationship building throughout
  
• More interaction between Spyro and his villains
  
• REALLY amazing sky boxes! Take those starry, sunset colored, nebula-esque skies from Spyro one and make them come alive. Make them look real with depth, natural light and motion in the clouds.
  
• A wind riding mechanic goddamit! The more I think of it the more I think an expanded glide mechanic where you can ride wind currents for greater height and distance is an excellent mid ground between a basic glide and free flight.
  

Hopefully when Spyro goes from level to level, we won't get a black screen with "LOADING" and a floating Sparx. That would annoy me, because I like how Spyro swoops into the level in the first game, and I wish they kept that for 2 and 3.

To be fair, Crash didn't have any loading animation when entering or leaving a level in the original games. I don't see why Spyro's flight animation through the portals between levels wouldn't be used.

In N.Sane trilogy, I'm finding the flight controls in Rings of Power harder than I remember them being in the orignal game. Therefore, if VV are the ones developing the Spyro trilogy, then I'm worried about what Spyro's superfly controls will be like, especially in the speedways.

I’m sure flying loading screens will be mantained, they are arguably one of the most iconic element of the first three games and helped immensely avoiding a sense of interruption caused by blank loading screens (which is why I hope they will remove the cut in Gateway to Glimmer and Year of the Dragon as well).

I wonder if they’ll keep continuity with Spyro’s model.
He has some small differences between the games, like his wings in the first one or his upset expression in the second, but I doubt they’d be relevant enough to justify three different models.

Besides, I don’t think Crash changed visibly between Crash Bandicoot and Warped so we really don’t have any reference here with the N. Sane Trilogy.

Pretty sure certain animations, like the gliding and falling ones were a bit different as well.
