It actually seems as though their coverage lasts ten minutes, so it's entirely possible that it's merely a recap of the panel and nothing else. However, I still do fully expect the entire thing to be uploaded on YouTube sometime after.

As much as this is great news and I’m super happy more people will get to play the game, I sincerely hope this won’t be their big drop for the ComiCon.
This might not be true for the PC version, but a Switch porting had to be expected considering how the Nintendo Skylanders’ fanbase has always been the biggest and how it has most definitely crossed over to Spyro and Crash now, not to mention I can’t see the Reignited Trilogy not following the same route as the N. Sane one.

I’d accept it a bit more if the announcement came with a new trailer showcasing never seen befor footage from the first two games (and perhaps even the third), but I’m definitely crossing my fingers for more focus on the game itself and how it has been improved over the months.

It depends on how they keep the styling info. If it's a separate CSS document, that they applied to both pages, then it could be as they could have just changed certain color values but didn't touch the font type.

Actually, as of now trying to select the PC and Switch versions gives you a “not currently available in your area. Please try again later” type of message.

What’s weird is that doing the same for the PS4 results in a “available now” message, while the XBOX ONE option says “available from the 21st of September”.
Makes it hard to understand whether they are talking about the game itself or the preorder.

Regarding the font, I probably expressed myself poorly: I meant it’s the same one used for the rest of the Spyro site, but is different from the one in Crash’s.

While I believe 100% that Spyro will come to Switch and PC eventually, I think that this was a mistake on their part. Spyro's website is just copy-pasted from Crash's, and when the Switch/PC listings were added earlier today there was also a "Gallery" section added that currently leads nowhere. We'll probably see the website update soon with screenshots/videos as well as the updated cover, just like how Crash's is.

I’d be more inclined to believe in a coincidence if we were talking about someone else and not the very person who reported the remakes being in the work before anyone else, thus implying a connection with some insider which could very well be still informing her.

She’s not just a gaming journalist, not when it comes to the Reignited Trilogy and Activision at least.

Never said it was absolutely confirmed, only that being her who retweeted makes me a bit more suspicious.
Wouldn’t have had the same doubt if it were simply another important name (other sites have retweeted the news but I obviously don’t give them the same credits).

Regarding the link, can you please explain it a bit better?
When I try to preorder the Switch version it simply says “not currently available in your area. Try again later” and doesn’t even let me select a retailer.
Did people find that out by looking at the site’s code?

IIRC people on Twitter looked into the code of the website and the PC and Switch versions both directly mention that they are for the N Sane Trilogy.

I still don't think it was a whole conspiracy with the first dragon being a "Fake Nestor", I think it's more likely TfB just took feedback into account and either changed him, or swapped the model with another dragon.

EDIT: He has those belly scales going down his arm, just like Gunnar's one unique feature ...I wonder if it was a model swap, if he was originally meant to be Gunnar like my original guess on who the pin was >3>

HOLY SNAP THAT HURRICOS.

As I imagined the original music sounds good on the remakes but the new one feels more natural, even though it’s less “deep”.
Strongly hoping they’ll also add an option to toggle off the dynamicity of the reignited soundtrack, because it definitely has potential.

That’s incredible, by the way, the game already went beyond my most ambitious expectations but this is truly something else.
Pure commitment on TfB’s side.

Hurricos’ footage also confirms the Powerup Gates look like that in each level, which I personally think is a nice interpretation of the classic design and further confirms how early the Idol Springs build was.

One last thing: I may sound like a broken record, but Artisans looks better and better every time we get a new look at it.
Now I feel like it’s basically perfect: the colors, the lighting and even the skybox from what I can tell.
It’s mind-blowing how much it improved from when we first saw it in the reveal trailer.

WELP.

TIME TO PLAY REIGNITED TWICE, ONCE WITH EACH SOUNDTRACK.

I am also LOVING the changes made to Nestor. I still think the original green dragon was just a beta model for him. And if you listen closely, when he starts talking, the Artisans music does have percussion in it! It only fades into the ambient version we heard in the B-roll footage around when Spyro begins talking.

I think I've died and gone to heaven.

Also interesting: Teal's known about this feature for awhile, but from what he says, it seems like that's NOT the thing he mentioned seeing in the debug menu that he probably wasn't suppose to see... hmmmmmmmm
