If the Spyro games get remade or remastered, there should be secret bosses in the same way there's secret bosses in Kingdom Hearts. Some of them foreshadowed future installments. Just think about it.
Red the Exiled provided Gnasty Gnorc with the power to freeze all the dragons but got frozen himself, Spyro frees a dark crystal dragon statue and fights Red.
The secret superflame powerup in Dragon Shores is replaced by a portal to the missing Spring hub world in Avalar. All the portals in that hub world are destroyed and there's another dragon named Cynder the evil dragon from 1st Legend of Spyro, foreshadowing Malfeor.
Grendor (The Sorceress's other apprentice) instead of the Sorceress herself in the Super Secret Bonus World, absorbing the Sorceress's remaining magic to destroy Spyro and Bianca.
This could all build up to a new sequel to the Spyro trilogy set in the Skylands.
