the challenge is what can money not solve, even if you get meds youre still only treating the symptoms

I disagree. While you could try to make a safer building, things like earthquakes happen at such a deep level of the earth's crust that no amount of architectural integrity will stop destruction from occurring. Not to mention, we as humans can't just invent something to make the tectonic plats realign in such a way as to eliminate earthquakes.

As for severe weather and other natural disasters, yeah, no amount of money can "protect" anyone. Water levels could rise enough during a storm to breech flood barriers; intense winds can knock over trees and other structures, leading to injuries, deaths, etc. And tornadoes laugh at the notion of protective walls. So unless you want to surround every town and city with Attack on Titan-esque giant walls (which could still crumble with a strong enough earthquake), you're out of luck.

Yeah, I was talking more about super futuristic movie-like technologies that seem impossible today.

Lunarz has a point. Medication for mental illness is something that affects everyone differently. Yes, meds and therapy do have a rather high success rate, but not enough to be considered universally successful.

Think about the good side, you can pay for a martial art course and violently teach these people how to not be stupid.
